The Experience

Come visit Maine any time of year and see what we’re made of–literally. Pick any festival, any trail, any time of year. Start your journey and see where it takes you.

  • Balsam firs abound in winter, their fragrance filling the air. And when the frost begins to melt in spring, savor the sweetness of fresh maple syrup tapped directly from the source.
  • Take a scenic drive or hike a quiet trail, breathe the clean mountain air and discover beautiful farms nestled into the countryside. Bask in the summer shade and celebrate the sunny days before the harvest begins.
  • Plan your trip for autumn and make sure to stop by a local orchard for apple picking, hayrides and cider. Join us in celebrating the harvest by sampling our farmers’ bounty at a weekly market or attending one of our community harvest festivals.
